Open Source R

R is a language and environment for statistical computing, graphics, data analysis, data mining, and predictive modeling. It is available as free software under the terms of the Free Software Foundation's GNU General Public License (version 2). There is a very large and ever-growing community of R users across all industries, government, and academics. In addition to the core capabilities of R, there are many packages with additional functionality for everything from random forests to bioinformatics to "twitter'ing".

R is open source software and completely free to use. However, that also means it is unsupported. Lityx offers support contracts for R which allow commercial and institutional users to get the help they need when they need it. In addition, we provide a full suite of R consulting, including installation support, training, data analysis and modeling, integration into other software tools, and implementation.

We also sell REvolution R Enterprise which provides a scalable, high performance version of R for commercial use.
